Yesterday, I received a response from Edward Kay regarding some questions and rumors about the series that have been floating around that others and I wanted clarified. He wasn't able to answer all of the questions, as he says he signed a confidentiality agreement. Here's a few bullets of information he provided:

> The original premise of Jimmy being flattened and killed by a bus and then accidentally sent to Hell (or at least a hellish world) are true.
> In the original premise, Heloise was a serial killer in her former life.
> Heloise's scar was an aesthetic design choice with no given explanation for it in the show.
> The ages of Jimmy, Beezy and Heloise are intentionally left unspecified to give the characters a wider range of appeal that enables them to do things that children and adults would do.
> The reason that Heloise likes Jimmy is because “Something about sweet, innocent guys appeals to the last remaining shred of humanity in her”
